Cloud2

Similar to my previous picture as a whole, but dramatically different in colour. This picture tends to steer towards the blacks, greys and the whites to build up an effective contrast. The dominant clouds above also block out the sun as it tries to seep through. I greatly enjoy taking pictures of clouds as i find each picture is never replicated. All clouds are individual in shape, form and colour which i find fascinating.

Wow...

This has to be one of my most favourite pictures ive ever taken. Its almost an iconic picture, which like my leaves picture, could imagine it being a windows desktop picture. With a vast spectrum of colours, in the clouds alone creates an amazing image. It also has a huge contrast of dark black scenery and the almost lluminous blue above. Its something that reminds me of fairytales. No technique was used, i just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Sky

With a slow shutter speed we get a almost doubling effect as the outcome giving the sense of movement and action portrayed. The vivid blue sky gives a sense of inner tranquility and personal thought. The entire essence of the picture gives a kinda of godly effect but the colour gives the idea of a more vengeful god.

Random LEG

This picture may seem a bit random but it displays defined colour and detail and with a distorted background, this colour and detail seem to be more distinguished than compared to a normal picture. An overall nice, but slightly random picture. I like it but mainly due to its randomness.

Dinning Room

This was a random photo i took out of the blue but it works quite well with my topic. Although when i took this picture the room seemed a whole lot lighter at the time. Overall it has a nice contrast between the inside and outside on the house with an almost shadow feel for the objects inside the house. You can see the outside light reflecting off the table which gives the outside light an almost overpowering effect onto the darkness of the inside. The almost completely black candle ornament in the middle of the table also adds to the image of a dark room.

5am

Taken early in the morning (as you could have guessed) and also without the use of photoshop. This photo is magnificent in its own way. Although the picture is not 100% in focus (mainly due to the fact it was taken with a poor quality camera), it still has quite an appealing effect. The blurish nature goes well with the time of day when taken, to some extent. The sun rising and the red-ish reflection onto the clouds is the center-piece of the picture and thats the main reason why this picture is acceptable. If you are not familiar with early mornings, you would barely notice the beauty in the world, even locally and which is possible to view everyday.

Tybo

To me, this is a nice picture. A portrait picture which focuses on the character and none of the background. With great detail you are able to easily see the beauty in the picture. The positioning of my dog is also key in making it a nice picture as it doesnt fill the whole picture with its presents.

John Lenon Wall

I like this picture, mainly due to the layering in the shot. The entire wall is covered in graffiti and with another outer-layer of graffiti gives a nice effect. You can also see a small reflection in the black graffiti line which is also nice. A very meaningful shot as each separate graffiti tag reveals a different value. Also the vibrant colours create a nice contrast with the wall and floor.

Random Leaves

This is a picture i took of some random pile of leaves. A very seasonal photograph. Seems like the kind of picture that could be used as a desktop background. Simple but effective. Espeically in colour.

Prague Tramline

This picture has been photoshoped to discard some colours. My initial idea was to discard some colours to bring out other colours. In this case i wanted to make the blue like road more noticeable but alone, would not bring about a very entertaining photo. It works well with the initial shot, however, it still seems to be missing something to create the desired effect. Possbily changing/manipulating/adding different colour to tthe sky may work well.

Prague

This was taken just outside the cathedral. Partially at night, you get the essence of the glow of the lights and also the suttle blue sky. I used photoshop briefly to bring out the most of the colours but only used small adjustments. It mainly shows the nightlife of the city and how amazing the view can be.

Auschwitz Concentration Camp

This photo was taken in the small building above the main rainway going through auschwitz. Peering slightly down you able to view the extent of the railway and the surrounding desolate area. Taken throught a slighty steamy window, it gives a small frame effect and greater blur to the distance. This gives a greater contrast between the virbrant red and greens of the beauty of the rose and the dark cloudy and added blurry background which represents death due to the location.
